We had a great time at our céilí last week, held for the first time at magical Glen Echo Park! Thanks to everyone who came out. We had dancing with live accompaniment by some of the region’s best Irish musicians and the energy was amazing. We did classic favorites: the Siege of Ennis, Walls of Limerick, Haymaker’s Jig, and the Bonfire, and wrapped up with Shoe the Donkey into a waltz. We were thrilled to have a performance by students of the Baltimore-Washington Academy of Irish Culture, led by Lexie Boatright.
